About Me:
Born in Brooklyn, New York, Rudy Giuliani knows the value of a strong work ethic.

A graduate of New York University Law School, Rudy Giuliani was appointed in 1981 by President Ronald Reagan as Associate Attorney General, the third highest position in the Department of Justice.

Two years later, Rudy became U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York, where he prosecuted organized crime, white-collar criminals, drug dealers and corrupt elected officials.

In 1993, Rudy became the first Republican elected Mayor of the City of New York in a generation. He was reelected to a second term with 57% in a city where Democrats outnumber Republicans five to one.

Rudy lives in New York with his wife Judith.

I had the chance to meet Rudy on the campaign trail back in October and drive him through Frisco, TX. I am beyond heartbroken he is no longer the Republican nominee. Hopefully we'll see him as NY Governor soon, so he can make another Presidential run in 2016.

Prior to John McCain getting the nomination (although not official as of this post), I like(d) the Republican contenders in general, but I was leaning towards Rudy Giuliani. I was disappointed when I heard he was dropping out, but I'm also happy to see unity behind McCain and not to see the division I'm seeing in the Democratic Party between Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, which I'm enjoying.

Whats Rudy going to do now?

You are a good Jasper Rudy! You don't need to inherit this mess to make you a hero; you won that a long time ago with the only City that matters.

Perhaps 2008 is more symbolic than we think.

I cannot help but wonder what historians will write about this year, and the 8 years that preceded it.

More importantly, what is the perception now?

Perhaps then 2008 calls for a time of reflection, calls for a time of reform, and calls for a time where 'Change' meets 'Tradition' and says, "Hey, I remember you, let's compromise."
