Speaking of pleasure gained, I LOVE Tom Russell's music, I try to see him perform every time he gets to the PNW. Besides "hearing" his artistry of weaving words with music, you can FEEL his heart and soul in every story he writes into each of his songs, and no matter the city, he seems to connect with his audiences on a personal level, making each live performance a unique experience. If you don't catch him live you are making a huge mistake, Tom is definitely one artist that, in person, can surpass the studio recordings of his library of songs on his CDs. :)
