We need at least 20 volunteers from the Alamo Colleges or SAC family.
We will be packing banana boxes with 50-55 lbs of food for families. The Food Bank personnel will give us the formula to work with (as in how many cans of veggies, fruit, pasta, etc.)
We will work as a team to fill as many boxes as we can safely in th...e 4 hours we have. Please meet there and go to the Volunteer Entrance.
Are you a student, staff or faculty member? We will take anyone on the team but are interested in who is coming. You can also bring family members.

San Antonio College Service-Learning If you would like a 10-12 lb Turkey for Thanksgiving....the Phi Theta Kappa Food Pantry has 50 more turkeys to give out. You must get on the waiting list. Please come to the Food Pantry starting tomorrow at 12 pm to get signed up. Turkeys are being given out on Wednesday. For more information on the Food Pantry, search... San Antonio College Service-Learning SAC will host a Hunger Banquet at 6 pm TONIGHT in the VATC room 120. This event is designed to raise awareness about world hunger. Participants will take part in a hunger simulation meant to demonstrate the depth of the problem. A donation of $5 or five cans of food per person is recommended. Donations benefit the Food...
