City of Salem Animal Shelter Happy New Year everyone! Let's start 2010 off in a great way by visiting and/or adopting an animal from the shelters. What better way to start the new year than by being a hero and saving a life??!!

Christina Thompson I adopted a kitten from you guys back in September.. When I got him they told me it was a girl! Turns out he was a she... He is a pure fire bundle of enery.. He never stops going and I have never met a crazier cat!! He fetches like a dog and his favorite thing to do is chew on toes.. I thought he would be my perfect... match but even I am not this crazy!! But on the good side, lol, I love him and although most times want to scream I am sure he will be my perfect companion one fine day... BTW, his name is Gage...

Stephanie Richardson Just wanted to give you an update on our little sweetheart, Lily!! We adopted her from the Salem Animal shelter 3 months ago and she's the sweetest little girl!! My daughter and I just love her!! Thanks so much for giving us the opportunity to add our baby girl to our family and giving these angels another chance!!

City of Salem Animal Shelter Please share any holiday pictures of your pets with us! Also, if you have adopted from the shelter we would love an update! We wish all of you a safe and joyous holiday!
