Sam Houston State University In honor of Veterans Day today, the Veterans Resource Center is asking members of the SHSU community to share in a moment of silence at 11 a.m. to recognize the soldiers and one civilian who lost their lives at Ft. Hood last week, as well as all veterans. Also in celebration of the day, a patriotic song will be played from the Bell Tower at 10:50 a.m.
