Nearly end of Sept, but no reason not to keep on saving koalas. Apart from making a direct donation to Sam's shelter, you can log in to ebay and buy a small Trading card sized print in memory of Sam... and the money (100%) goes to the shelter via me.

Best wishes
Carol

David,
You are a true angel. May there be many more people on this earth as good and wonderful as you are.
RIP Sam ..... I cried and cried. I have been following you and raising money for the bushfire victims (humans and animals) since day one.

A FORMER army major may profit from Sam the Koala less than a week after the marsupial died. http://www.news.com.au/heraldsun/story/0,21985,25911326-661,00.html Definiately not on, unless money from the chocolates goes toward something bushfire related.

Dear Izabelle, Christine and Penny, I have received 3 emails about this. As you all emailed me about the same thing I’m replying to you jointly. Thank you for your messages and for thinking of me, and your kind words about my work. ...

A LIFESAVING vaccination for koalas could be available within two years if university researchers can raise $2 million. http://www.news.com.au/heraldsun/story/0,21985,25901747-2862,00.html

http://www.news.com.au/heraldsun/story/0,21985,25898769-661,00.html I think it's a good idea. It's a way to preserve history. I know some people might not like the idea, but the idea of displaying Sam like Phar Lap is alright. Thoughts?

The idea has been raised to ask sculptor Peter Corlett to create a statue replicating the photo of Sam and David. This statue would be a memorial to the many many people involved in the Black Saturday Bushfires...

That one photo of the American soldiers raising the flag in world war 2 changed the whole course of the war, it gave people hope, an i think the photo of Sam has changed many things in this country an did give people hope in a time of need. Rest in peace:(

Sam the Koala Neil Mitchell - what a very insensitive and un-Australian person, in regards to his comments about Sam (http://www.3aw.com.au/blogs/3aw-generic-blog/sam-the-koala-dead-who-cares/20090807-ebuz.html) I urge you to take a few minutes to post feedback in regards to these comments (comment form is at the bottom of the page), which may also be read on air.
