SaveAmerica.com As we've been saying, it's dangerous for Republicans in Congress to "deal" with Barack Obama on health care reform. Obama's "solution" is near-opposite of conservatives. He wants more government control. Conservatives want individual responsibility and freedom. We're glad John Boehner and Eric Cantor are skeptical.

lifenews.com
Top Republicans raised the possibility late Monday that they may not participate in the summit, since they view it as a publicity stunt rather than an attempt a real health care reform.
SaveAmerica.com

SaveAmerica.com It's risky business for Republicans to "deal" with Barack Obama on changes to the U.S. health care system. If Republicans stand principled and tough, they can show Americans a clear alternative to the Democrats going into November. But the danger is Obama will choose a couple of their ideas and use them to pass a slightly-less-bad bill.

www.reuters.com
Republicans are urging the president to scrap versions of the roughly $1 trillion overhaul approved last year by the Senate and House of Representatives that, among other things, would provide federal subsidies to help people afford health insurance.

SaveAmerica.com The national "hate crime" law of Barack Obama and the Democrats means more mileage for homosexual activists' dream to criminalize pro-family speech in America. This is alarming: "Free speech does not mean that groups such as PFOX should be permitted to distribute incorrect and demeaning information like this to high school students."

www.wnd.com
A campaign has been launched in Montgomery County, Md., to turn the free speech rights of a group of advocates for those who choose to leave the homosexual lifestyle into hate speech, which then could be targeted and banned under the new hate speech

This comes back to the gay lobby wanting everyone to agree with them. Everyone should be able to present their viewpoint. The gay lobby being offended that the Bible calls homosexuality a sin is no reason to silence opposing arguments. Respectful debate should not be shut down in America.

SaveAmerica.com Congressman John Murtha, a longtime Democrat from western Pennsylvania, has died at age 77. Murtha was a supporter of government-run health care, an opponent of fighting terrorism on Iraq soil, and a champion of local earmarks, earning him the nickname of "King of Pork." In 2008, Republican John McCain carried Murtha's district by 1,000 votes.

SaveAmerica.com Did you see the Superbowl ad with Christian quarterback Tim Tebow and his mother? Did you consider it a pro-life message? It didn't mention "abortion" or "pro-life." At the very least, it promoted sweet bonding between a mother and her child. What do you think Americans got from seeing it?

The announcement that Focus on the Family was going to air a Super Bowl ad caused a lot of controversy. Yesterday, CBS aired two versions of the ad, but they were both very light, gentle, and not really worthy of the big bruhaha they caused.
