Hello, I've always dreamt of going to an art school. As time passed and things in life started to take shape, I had started wondering if my dream of going to an art school was a bit unrealistic, since It seems like I might not be able to
afford it.
When I visited SCAD's website I fell in love! Illustration, Metals and... Jewelry, Accessory Design...etc... so many amazing programs. I found my dream of going to an art school renewed as well as my determination.
I'm currently going to a Community College, I don't know if the possibility of transferring exists, and I heard something about scholarships.
I would also like to visit the city first, as someone already mentioned the anxiety of moving out of state. I'll probably be requesting some information soon. Happy to be a fan.
Joey Valletta What should I submit as my portfolio if my intended major is Film and Television? I am working on a few short films, how many would need to be sent to be considered an adequately-sized portfolio?
Jessica Wen Hello, I am currently applying to SCAD; however, i am really interested in both the Savannah campus as well as the Hong Kong new campus. I did my first step online application this afternoon once for EACH CAMPUS! I would like to know what should i do for the further portfolio submition/ other information process? thank you!!

Whitney Bray SCAD, this has been my dream school ever since my sophomore year in high school (5 years ago) when I saw a poster for your school on the wall. If I was to get my associates or Bachelor's degree in Media Arts and Animation at the Art Institute of Houston, and THEN apply for SCAD, would I have a higher chance of getting ...in then if I was just to apply at SCAD first?? And where can I find out about housing at SCAD? Thank you so very much for your time.

Kenneth James Brustad I was wondering if dual inrolled studants at PJC count as transfers or freshmen, because I'll be getting my AA when I graduate from high school but I dont know if that will make me a transfer.

I have a few questions myself...
1. I recently applied and are waiting for my SAT scores and transcripts to be received. Would I be able to send in the portfolio at this time as well?
2. I heard the portfolio can be e-mailed, but who do we send it to? Our admissions Counselor?
3. How do we get assigned an admissions counselor?

Brandon Johnson I hope you don't find this dumb, but I have an anxiety about going to school in a different state though I want to do so, I have applied to this school before, but wasn't sure if I could afford it so i just didn't go any futher, this time, i want that to change but im afraid that might happen again honestly? Any advice?
