I can't wait to get my copy. I've noticed a lot of scrap and craft mags talking about using mag. clippings, packaging and wrapping paper in layouts and have wondered about the archival part. I know there are sprays but the one at my local Michael's costs $40.00 a can!

I have used the Lewiston Livestock auction cards my husband brings home each week to use as journaling spots for his cattle/cowboy pages. They also have made a great mini-album.

I've been saving the clear plastic disks from the top of the CD stacks and the foam "washers" from them too. Have to see what the new issue has. Maybe it will help me decide how to use them.

I collect the little tags they put on your clothes at the dry cleaners-mine are pink and will make a cute border on a girlie page.

I just used real leaves from the back yard that have falllen from these gorgeous trees. I preserve them by applying decopauge or modge podge and they stay pliable and keep their color too! Awesome!

I have used leaves from outside as well and applied a layer of 3-D glass finish...looks cool alone, but really cool if you crack it a little bit. I have also used maps, washers, tickets, pop can tabs heated and dipped in embossing powder make cute buckles/ribbon slides, junk mail, sandpaper, coloring books for paper piecing patterns. I've even cut a button off my husbands shirt to match a layout I was working on... :~ Shhhh...
