I am in my Second Year of Unemployment Benefits. They are determined on Quarters of earnings. I am earning Unemployment Benefits off my LAST Quarter of earnings. What happens if this horrible recession goes into its THIRD year? There won't be anymore quarters of earnings. This will mean that the foreclosures we have seen at the beginning of ... Read Morethe recession will CONTINUE ON...therefore, the economy will continue to deteriorate re: unemployed with "no money" and MANY foreclosures. Individuals - $163 a month instead of $466 - and,

I can't contribute, b/c I'm unemployed and can't find a decent job b/c of the economy. Maybe you can help with this.

P.S. Please DON'T vote for the public option. The healthcare system needs help, but not more control. I uset to be a Medicaid Case Manager and also had client's who have Medicare and they didn't have much in the way of coverage or choices.

I think Senator Burr is doing a great job! He does a lot of good for a lot of people. If you have a problem write him or call and I'm sure eventually he will address your concerns. It's hard being in his position especially now with so many people needing help with everything going on in this country.

Sen. John Ensign (R-Nev.) received a handwritten note Thursday from Joint Committee on Taxation Chief of Staff Tom Barthold confirming the penalty for failing to pay the up to $1,900 fee for not buying health insurance.

Violators could be charged with a misdemeanor and could face up to a year in jail or a $25,000 penalty, Barthold wrote on JCT letterhead. He signed it "Sincerely, Thomas A. Barthold."
