Bruce Jensen I proposed to my wife at Lodgepole - and a year later, it was where I took my parents to visit on the days leading up to our wedding. Back then, there were still little cabins in the Giant Forest. While I am glad they are gone, I still sort of miss them...some important memories dimmed **just a little bit** when they were removed.

sequoia national park Ever heard of the Leonid meteor shower? We won't be able to see the peak of the shower here in North America, but optimal viewing conditions will be on Tuesday November 17 between 2am and 4am. Sky-watchers are advised to venture out away from bright city lights and there's no better place for that than Sequoia National Park!
