sequoia national park ROAD UPDATE: Currently the road between Kings Canyon and Sequoia is closed due to snow. It will open back up as soon as they can get it plowed, but if you are planning to visit Sequoia in the next few days you should enter the park on Highway 198.
Jeff Marshall coming up tommorow, Wednsday, to play in the snow. Is there Snow? I hope so.

Chaitanya -Shakti This park is so beautiful. My father passed away last year from cancer, and because of Sequoia National Park I have so many beautiful memories of my father to cherish. When I was a kid, he would take me hiking in the Sequoia National Park allll the time. We'd go sledding up in Lodgepole, we'd swim at Hume Lake, we'd bu...y rock candy at Crystal Cave, we'd hike by the Grant tree and all over! Gosh, it was fun...miss it. I'm so glad this park is here for me to visit and one day bring my kids to hike in. It's such a beautiful park!

sequoia national park Road Update: Good news - the road construction project on the Generals Highway that started this past summer is officially finished. There may be some more road work done in the future, but for now visitors will not be experiencing any more delays in the park due to road construction.
