TF2? The past? It came out two years ago and smashes Call of Duty into the ground. The PC has tons of maps and playmodes, it recieves new FREE content all the time, and it's made by a company that cares about the quality and replayability of its games. You get blinded by hype or reputation of a company for one of its games, and then spew shit about it, probably without playing another game you bash. Go ahead and stick to your "super hardcoar" MW2, the rest of us will be on better, alternate games (and mods). Better to not have you clogging up our servers anyway.

So far, and I've been a hugely negative critic of these changes, I've actually been enjoying this game WAY more than expected (PC version). The IW:NET actually works and surprisingly, is latency-free from what I've seen. I think that the missing Lean feature does suck but it's hardly a deal-breaker and as for 9v9, yeah, I prefer more players but the maps seems balanced for it so it's all good.

My opinion is that people probably should at least try the game before making a "not purchasing" decision. Go see it at a friend's house or something if you dont' want to risk the $60.

As someone who isn't quite casual, but isn't quite hardcore, I intend to keep an open mind and "see what happens" before I complain. Every issue IW has stated are all issues that have GREATLY effected my gameplay experience, even in more casual/locked down games like Battlefield Heroes. Some of those issues are extremely frustrating.

This isn't controversial - it's just a poorly disguised marketing ploy meant to generate publicity. After all, any publicity is good publicity, right ActiSuck? LOL

This won't be terribly controversial to tons of PC gamers who no longer will be buying this consolized piece of crap. Fail Infinity Ward and ActiSuck. Major-league Fail.

I agree with points 1 and 3 (and kinda 5, but w/e, nothing new and a search or two from the "usual places" will find empty .bik files to fix it mostly). No AA blows and the interface could have used a bit of shine and polish when they made the port.

For the record, you can save/exit whenever you want, you'll just respawn at the last checkpoint when you rejoin a game. Fantastic game!

@Ronnie: Don't fret. You can buy Windows 7 really cheap and run in bootcamp, or simply try other MMOs. Students can get Windows 7 for $29.99, and the oem price is $99. If not running OSX native games, then that will basically open the door to all of Windows gaming.
