I don’t have a ton of time for a post here, because I’ve waffled away enough time taking pictures and flicking through the book already, so it’s really time to get back to work, and a late lunch...

Shadowrun commented on their own note SRM3-03 Burning Bridges is now available!

What can Shadowrun fans find at Origins this week? Well, as usual, we’re hosting a ton of games. Origins has a well-deserved reputation as “the con you go to to play” and we always have a large group of tables running...

No, Bruce - pre-orders are part of the normal release cycle, not flown over like these copies were.

Bruce at 5:39pm June 26
Okay. with all the mention of deliveries at various points I was curious. Thanks.

We have a new PDF exclusive that just posted this afternoon — SRM3-03 Burning Bridges is the next scenario in season three of the Shadowrun Missions campaign. The voice on the other end of the comm sounded desperate. The kind that pays well...

Actually it was up Saturday afternoon. Took a bit before Facebook was updated :)
Shadowrun at 12:55pm June 24
Facebook just yoinks the RSS feed from Shadowrun4.com, so it will always lag a little bit behind. But it's nice and low maintenance.
Carl at 2:44pm June 24
I'm buying the books and PDF's as quick as I can :)

A week before June’s Shadowrun Missions-focused chat, here’s the PDF transcript of May’s in-character chat! Sorry this one is so late; making the chat logs pretty ranks way down on the list of things-to-do, after all the “make books look pretty” stuff...

Sean has been working on stellar maps for us over the last year, starting with Ghost Cartels — his maps will be gracing the Dawn of the Artifacts series of adventure and Runner’s Toolkit, as well...

SR4 is my favorite edition but i can't wait to see some things link back to the good old days.
Robert at 5:04am June 12
I run SR4, but we still run allot of 3rd. I have been running/playing since first and don't think the changes in 4th were needed. But hey, marketing and new products brings in money :)
Roman at 3:17pm June 26
>>I think they did a good job streamlining the game...sr4 is a little more user friendly i think, than sr2

This month we will be discussing Shadowrun Missions and be giving away a FREE copy of a Shadowrun Missions Scenario (of the winner’s choosing) to one of the chat participants...

This set of Shadowrun-inspired photographs just popped up in my RSS feeds. Very cool! What sort of secrets may be hidden in a seemingly-derelict compound? Have Shadowrun-inspired pictures on Flickr, Shadowrun fan artwork, or just pictures of your group hanging out playing the game...

So, while some of you hopefully got to play a Shadowrun game or two this holiday weekend, I did not. A combination of reasons—primarily that my GM was out of town (more so than usual). The other reason was that it was my son’s birthday on Memorial Day, so there was a lot to do to prepare...

It doesn’t feel like it’s been 3 weeks since I was typing in shock that it was already May, but apparently it has. Now, for those in the US, it’s Memorial Day weekend—the traditional start of summer, and a 3-day weekend...

We have a new PDF exclusive that released late last night — SRM3-02 Block War is the next scenario in season three of the Shadowrun Missions campaign. What starts as a petty fight could degenerate to a full-scale war. When things are turning sour who said mediators had to be neutral...

It’s that time again. We’ll be doing another in-character fan chat, featuring some of our JackPoint posters answering questions related to the crime scene and the criminal underworld, especially after the fallout of the tempo drug events...

So, I’ve been bouncing between a half-dozen different projects, but one of my favorites right now is Running Wild. Maybe because it’s the second time someone let me write rules, or maybe it’s because I got to write a P2.0 blog from a centaur’s point of view...

I’m deep in Seattle 2072 right now. The text is written and at the editor, I’ve done a mock layout so we know just how much art is going to be in the book, and now I’ve turned my attention towards the one thing that most gamers love: maps...

April was an awfully busy month for the development team. I realize that’s hard to believe from the outside looking in; after all — the only new release was a Shadowrun Missions scenario. So, obviously, we weren’t doing anything, right...

Here’s the April Chat Transcript. This in-character chat featured fans asking JackPoint regulars questions on all sorts of subjects. In the transcript, all “official” comments from a JackPoint poster are highlighted with grey...

We have a new PDF exclusive that released late last night — Ready, Set, Gogh! is the next scenario in season three of the Shadowrun Missions campaign. By 2070, life literally imitates art. Some people have a fetish for it and it’s your job to see that it’s delivered and still breathing...

Join us for the April Shadowrun Fan Chat! This month, the chat will be an in-character Q&A session where you can ask some of our favorite JackPoint posters questions - on their histories, their work, their interests, their love-lives… you name it...

Gen Con has released their event schedule for 2009, and all of the Catalyst Game Labs sponsored Shadowrun events are included in the mix. (Event registration opens up on Sunday, 4/19/2009!) This year, we were lucky enough to be able to schedule over 100 tables of events for the convention...

Basically though, I really love the new layout - it is very clean, colorful, and the ... Read Moresidebars/tables really pop. The text font looks like 10pt, which is about the smallest you want to go to keep things comfortably legible. The color art is very nice - I especially enjoy the few throwback illos in the book (if my memory serves, there's at least a couple of them), and the cover piece/chapter starts are great - very evocative of the setting.
Lastly, I really appreciate the fact that the book's content is basically the updated SR4 book with new fiction. It doesn't at all invalidate the other core releases, and in fact does a great job of calling them out in the appropriate sections with a sidebar, enticing you to pick 'em up.
