Shawn McDonald I watched “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” last night I would say it was a quite interesting movie. Very different and kinda long but a movie I was glad I saw. I loved the Cinematography in the movie. very beautifully shot. Anyone else seen it? What are your thoughts?

Thanks Shawn! To claim salvation through Christ without discipline in the fundamentals which were taught directly by Christ (Sermon on the Mount) devalues the crucifixion and resurrection resulting in cheap grace.

I am so glad you shared this story. I think in life we all get to a point when we feel this way, some more often than others. I have experienced my fair share of hurts in life and I feel like I could easily fall into the "Why me, Lord?" until I started thinking. I could use the trials that I have been through to help others. I watch my mom ... Read Morefight cancer and slowly watched her life fade in front of me and then I went into a marriage that was unhealthy and abusive-thank God, He led me out of that poor decision that I made and here I am now. 30 years old, dean of a school, getting my masters,so involved in church, working with youth, and trying to do God's will. I have learned no matter how hard I try to make something work and happen in my favor, it's not worth it unless it is God's plan or desire and not my own. Keep your chin up Shawn! Your lyrics and your beautiful voice has inspired so many people and given us hope in times when we felt like there wasn't.

What a beautiful testimony. I am humbled to be reminded that we are going through the emotions in life together. I look at others and think, "their life is so perfect and pieced together, when will mine be there?"
