Call the governor to uphold Rosie Sanchez's parole. He has until 3/12 to reverse. At end of March, he will decide on Patricia Joellen Johnson and Romarilyn Baker's cases. BPH will hear on Marisol Garcia 3/10. Let's pray for them all and send emails, write and call!

CCWP can do letters for both of them and I can write on knowing them personally. Can anyone put me in touch with their attorneys? We wrote to LaVelma, but she didn't reply. Anyone who has info, send to deirdre@womenprisoners.org or call 415 255-7036 x:314

Thanks, Deirdre. Joanne is represented by USC Justice Project and LaVelma is still searching for a pro bono lawyer and is working with a state appointee for the hearing. We'll send you the info...

Kathryn Elizabeth Krastin Watched the film tonight. Very powerful...

Loved three powerful statements --
1. Leaving presumes that it'll stop the violence; it actually can increase the violence (an increased risk for 2 yrs)
2. If we can reduce violence in the home by 50%, we can reduce violence in the streets
3. If you feel trapped, you are!

If f...olks would like to tell their story of survival, please contact me -- see http://www.realliferadionetwork.com/profile/TxBluebonnet.

I hadn't heard of the Stockholm Syndrome before....and was amazed at the amount of information out there about it. I've only read a few articles...kinda helps me understand myself, and deal with the guilt I carry for staying so long. Here's one of the links. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. It has helped me greatly...now if only my family could understand.
