Annual Crime Brief 2008
Singapore’s crime situation continued to register an improvement from previous years. Not only did overall crime fall for the third consecutive year, the overall crime rate fell to the second lowest for the past two decades.
Singapore remains a safe place to live and work in but this should not be taken for granted. The public is reminded to stay vigilant as we continue to work closely with them to prevent and deter crime.
