The Skin Cancer Foundation Have you seen The Skin Cancer Foundation’s anti-tanning campaign? Check out our Go With Your Own Glow page, and become a fan!

In 2008, The Skin Cancer Foundation launched its first major public awareness campaign, Go With Your Own Glow. The groundwork for this campaign came from a “beauty summit” -- a think tank of top fashion and beauty editors, including Jane Larkworthy of W Magazine, Sarah Brown of Vogue, Val Monroe of O, The Oprah Magazi...ne, Amy Keller of Allure and Lois Joy Johnson, former editor at MORE Magazine. It seems like alot, I agree. I just had Mohs surgery for the first time yesterday. Basal cell on my inner canthis (side of my nose by my eye). Most common and can be the most disfiguring type of skin cancer. I meet with a plastic surgeon for closure this morning. This is my second round with basal cell in 7 years. This time, I'm a beliver, got the memo, have the t-shirt, "get-it," however you want to term it.
