Paul

Paul For anyone feeling a 'beat-up' by the latest 'crap' on the equality front... take a few moments and listen to this performance - it will surely give you a little boost.

The song was sung by Liza in 1993, published on a single with three language versions. At that time Liza donated some money for reaserches for an AIDS cure. This clip comes from "The Tonight Show", 01.26.1994.

hi, tonight...or today, i don't know really, i knew a new thing about one the people that i love a lot, one of my friends. It was rellay strange, because he told me something wrong about my sexual preference. I don't know what a hell to do because i love him like a best friens but that hurt me really. Maybe it was igno...rance or just he drunk a lot, but i know that if i gave him a hugh he doesn't need to hurt me...that's was just words, but i think if the my frien thinks that, what will think the world???... i know, your problems are anotherones bud your are human enough but i know that you can tell me something for having peace, i to know what to do? just be wise and give to me an advice. a council, please. And thanks before that, see you SlapRead More

Personally, I think that anyone who refuses to accept you for who you are isn't really a friend. There are a ton of much nicer people out there; surround yourself with people who love and support you for who you are, and phase out the ones who don't. :)

Andoni - life is short, and often difficult. One thing I've learned is to surround myself with loving, caring people. We all have friends who have 'things' we don't particularly care for - bad habits, other friends, even values that don't align with ours. BUT, our sexuality is a big part of who we fundamentally are.
Equality is about basic ... Read Morerespect, dignity and yes, acceptance of others for who they (fundametally) are as another human being. Not everyone, friends or family, accept our sexuality. For many, they don't understand. But not understanding is different than saying there is something 'wrong' with you because of your sexuality. Be cautious - and, what ever your decision is, be sure to respect yourself above all things.

Mark Harwood-Jones

Mark Harwood-Jones great work! I just found this site today, and can't get enough. Thanks especially for including trans issues along with gay, lesbian, bisexual and so on. I really appreciate feeling included (which, suprisingly, I often don't with other blogs/comics/whateverglbtt*).

Thanks, Mark! A GLBT site without the T is like a BLT without the tomato. :)

Slap Upside The Head finds his latest incoming hate mail the most adorable yet, but isn't exactly clear on the instructions to both "repent" and "burn in hell, sinner!" I guess the two aren't mutally exclusive, after all. ;-)

Actually, after checking out Twitter, I might reconsider. That is, if enough people would be interested. Hehe. :-)
