Tim Brewer White truffle hunting in Piedmont
The truffle hunter's house. Brother's Natale and Giorgio Romagnole carry on the family tradition of hunting in the woods for the elusive Piedmontese white truffle (tuber magnatum pico) with the aid of their faithful dog Lady Diana. They are one of the few trifalau who will take visitors with them to look for truffles,... in the nearby woods owned by their grandfather. We went with the Doganowski's and two other visitors from Australia and were lucky enough to find 2 white truffles. Read More
