Saint Louis Science Center Featuring nine-time world surfing champion Kelly Slater, The Ultimate Wave Tahiti immerses audiences in the story of an ocean wave and the lives it impacts and transforms. From astounding surfing action to the chaos of ocean storms, the film leads audiences on a quest to understand one of this planet's most intriguing ...and dramatic phenomena.

Action focuses on Tahiti and the volcanic islands of French Polynesia, home to some of the world's most challenging surfing, astounding coral reef ecosystems, and the Polynesian seafaring culture and the surfing art integral to the film.

My family sees most of the shows. I started rewriting a program last year for Girl Scout space/earth sciences badgework specific to what's available in STL. I need to get back to it.

Our Activities Chair for the Cub Pack was supposed to be working on a planetarium outting for us. We just had 17 of the boys crossover to new Boy Scout Troops, so I'm not sure what's up with that.

My 5th grader's homework last week still had Pluto as a planet...a photocopy of 9 hand-drawn circles on a straight line so he could learn the names. Kids would get more from seeing where they are than memorizing names of circles lined up like the Von Trapp family.... See More
