Small Dog Electronics The new iPhone 3.0 software is running great so far! Not too many SDE people are upgrading to the iPhone 3G S (yet), but some iPhone holdouts are about to finally take the plunge. For us, it's really all about cut 'n paste.

I have 3 y/o MBP from small dog; shortly buying, Apple increased size of internal HD. Do I get a break to buy the newer version? NO, I must live with what I have, till I decide to buy a new one.

I understand what you are saying and agree in the most part except you could easily have added a bigger hard drive to the MBP as I did and use the smaller as external for Time Machine when I upgraded to Leopard. I guess I was just taken by surprise that Apple is releasing a new hardware version of the iPhone every summer. But you are right, maybe next summer when my contract is up the 4th iPhone might be even sexier.

William Gillett I've been reading your newsletters for years. Love all of the personal life stories, as I attended NECI in Essex Jct. in the early 90's. I can't think of a more beautiful part of the country and I actually lived there for 2 years. I anticipate "my Kibbles" as much as our Lab mix Blue & Shiba Inu mix Pretzel anticipate "theirs".
