Want an easier life? Of course you do. So knock the excess of your life, complexities of your relationship, in short, cut the faff and breathe easy.

Mike The Gathering - Baby #10

keeping up the tradition of being an "equal opportunity hospital visitation team," our group headed down to Lackland Air Force Base to celebrate the 10th baby born in our small group over the past 2 years! Josiah James is a great addition and we enjoy taking over maternity waiting rooms in full support.

Fortunately we strategically rotate around hospitals so we don't hit the same staff twice. :) It's our 5th hospital of the year. We're all out of pregnant ladies now, so I think we can begin to focus on the formation of these little group members for awhile.

The manuscript for Episode 4 of Small Group Life Barbarians: A Call into Unchartered Faith is making its way into production. (Boy do we work ahead. Would you believe that this doesn’t release until next fall!) Because there’s the sense that maybe we as a culture have become somewhat ...
Judi Alexander Jackson

Judi Alexander Jackson Well, of course my favorite picture is the one of three of our guys in a volleyball action shot. One of my life verses is John 10:10 with the constant reminder that we have an enemy who is out to steal, kill, and destroy our joy, but Jesus invites us to live life to the fullest. And with Him in the center, our small group works (and plays) to achieve that!

Wow! What an awesome picture. You can really see the love that the tattoo guy has for the newly baptized guy. If only we could hear what he was saying in his ear.... ;)

Here's our small group...we spent the evening at a cemetary. We each had quiet time near a tombstone and listened for God. We all remembered the name on the tombstone and whenever we remember their names, we would remember to pray and remember what God spoke to us (mine was a little 3year old by name Frank E.) My husba...nd's name was Patience (hmmmmm....wonder what that means). It sure put life into perspective since the cemetary was from the 1700's...Life is short and eternity is forever!!Read More
