For working on chore-ey stuff around the office, today it’s Frampton Comes Alive! Been years since I listened to it start to finish. Humbucker!

Because what’s a concert without a T-shirt? Or two? Larger image and story of the “Gordon” shirt here. Larger image and story of the “BedHeads” shirt here. And yep, that’s Mike’s IH logo “International” guitar.

Paul Loomis I heard Michael tonight in Eau Claire- thanks for making me laugh so hard!!!
I never tire of your sincerity, astute observation of the human condition, and wit.

I have mentioned Barry Lynn in my books and other writing often. Perhaps you’d not think a fellow like this would be an inspiration to a clunky-footed knucklehead like me. But he is. Profoundly so. Past his mid-90s now, and still performing new dances. ...

UPDATE: That was fun. Thank you Jay. Thank you Moose listeners. The conversations we have on the Moose are goofy but also heartfelt, because we are basically chatting with our neighbors. If you’re up at 6:00 a.m. Central, you can hear me and my old pal Jay Moore on my beloved Moose Country 106.7. ...

Among the many hospitable things given me by the citizens of Pekin, IL, last week was a room at the local Holiday Inn. Now Josh the photographer sends me this… Did I leave the iron on?

If Mike left the iron on, I hope he wasn't ironing the fire department T-shirt I gave him that week. Because that would be a very weird example of irony. Or iron-y.

Theresa, The fire consumed the roof and destroyed the whole third floor. It seems to have started in the attic, so no one knew the building was on fire until it burned through the roof... Read More. As Mike knows, a fire is very stubborn once it has burned that long. Everyone got out safely, but the structure was so badly damaged that it will have to be rebuilt from scratch.
