Soccerlens Keane, on Ireland: "There was one match against Georgia where Ireland got a penalty and it was one of the worst decisions I've ever seen which changed the whole course of the game. I don't remember the FAI after the game saying we should give them a replay."

Soccerlens Petit, on Henry: "It's similar to the situation with Zinedine Zidane - he's been sent off 14 times, some for things a normal person in the street might be in prison for. We always found an excuse for Zidane so why can't we find one for Thierry as well?"

we cant blame Henry for this, intentional or not , it was a hand ball and it was the ref who needs to make the call, Henry rightly answered a journalist when asked why couldnt he go to the ref and say he touched the ball, he replied ya right and you have a very good sense of humor. Roy Keane for once was correct in his interview- what were the defenders doing in the first place allowing the ball to be in the 6 yard box and not marking Gallas.

There's always a lot of pressure on the refs from the likes of Platini, Blatter and the gamblers. Henry is a whily old veteran. I don't see what's wrong with a bit of gamesmanship when your team is playing so abysmally. However you feel about it, there won't be a replay.
