Aim Dul Assalamualaikum n good morning every one......:)
wow...needs help, when we make B.O.M -bill of materials- on SW,Can I find the value of the volume or length, width and height in the table with automatic. hufff..

Some value/variable is pre-defined in SW (like volume, area etc, as long as you find SW term pre-fixed in front); however length, width, height is not the certain value, in other words, you need to defined it manual during Part modeling in Files Properties (defined the value/expression by clicking the model dimension value).

Then in the assembly enviroment, call out the BOM & double click the colume, select the variable you defined during Part Modeling, you shall get what you want.

Alex Chee Recently I had attended Siemens NX 6.0 training in my university, I did find something interesting. NX 6.0 in term of icon graphics, icon names, features, even the Command Manager interface (for SW2008 term) of NX is having 80% of similiarity to SW.
