I’ve actually SEEN a contract for the US release of Solomon Kane. Admittedly, I haven’t seen a signed contract as lawyers are still playing tennis with it but it exists and, with a decent following wind, will get signed sometime before I retire. The date I saw on the contract definitely had a ’2012′ on it – so maybe, just maybe we’re making some progress. Gotta keep the faith…

Michael Lunney I'm in Canada and I have seen the movie, bought it through amazon in England. My family and I enjoyed the film tremendously, and we were disappointed that it wasn't shown in North America. We are hoping that another Solomon Kane movie will be made, and hopefully will be released here as well. Great movie, thanks.

I can't jump the gun because I have no details but I am assured that there is finally a future for Kane in the New World. And I have every reason to believe it is valid and true. As soon as I can share, believe me, I will."

Pete Postlethwaite, the wonderful father in Solomon Kane, died at the age of 64. Our director says on his twitter: "Pete Postlethwaite; a warm, generous and hugely talented man. It was a privilege to have known and worked with him." Rest in peace Pete.

One of the best supernatural adventure stories I’ve ever seen, true to the spirit and mood of Howard, great camerawork and editing. James Purefoy was perfect as Kane. Why this hasn’t got substantial American distribution I don’t know. I would work with Bassett any day on the strength of this film.”

Juan Carlos Sánchez Emilfork I love the work of Robert E. Howard. I been looking when it gonna arrive in theaters in my country cos' I don't wanna watch it in any other edition, but I can't understand why they don't promote better this film
