The new version of SuperSearch is now available. To request items through the new SuperSearch, you’ll need to create a SuperSearch account. At the SuperSearch home page, click Login, then click Register as a new user. Several hundred SuperSearch requests did not transfer from the old system. ...

Love SuperSearch! It would be nice if I could check on the availability of items I have requested from the request(ed) screen however (right now it seems I have to search for the item again -> check availability -> decide if it's still worth the wait).

I wish that I could request some items sooner then it lets me. Especially it's for a assignment.

Cynthia Parkhill I so appreciate the shared catalog system between Lake, Mendocino and Sonoma County libraries! They are all my "local" branches, deserving of my support.

Thanks for the update but I'm really concerned for those who are depending on the library to keep them warm and dry. I have a senior friend who cannot afford to heat her home. She walks to the RP library to read and rest from a chilly house.

Will there be any day shelters near the closed branches for winter break? Or can you refer me to someone who knows?

The senior center might be an option: 585-6780. I did a quick search of community services at http://www.211wc.org but was not able to find a day shelter right near Rohnert Park-Cotati Library. You might try calling the library reference desk, or dialing 211, for referrals. Your friend may also be eligible for financial assistance with heating. See http://www.pge.com/myhome/customerservice/financialassistance/ for a list of assistance programs.
