Why don’t we let the squires at Metal Hammer begin our introduction to the brutality that is Alexisonfire and their brand new album ‘Old Crows Young Cardinals’; “A dense and beautiful heavy rock... album with as many hardcore influences as progressive ones: rewarding and utterly gripping”
With the release of the brilliant album ‘Crisis’ in 2006 and 2004’s ‘Watch Out!’, who would have thought Alexisonfire would not only match the success of their previous efforts but ultimately smash all pre conceptions and tear them to shreds! “This is one of the best bands currently making music, and if you’re late in finding out, there’s plenty of room left on that train” – Punk News
All great things have humble beginnings and Comeback Kid is no exception and since forming in 2002 they have turned into one of the most infectious forces in independent music today. Following the departure of Scott Wade in 2007 implementing a new vocal sound can prove disastrous for some bands but not so with the spectacular arrival of Andrew Neufeld... “embrace this new incarnation with open arms and clenched fists in the air”. – Absolute Punk
Rounding out this kick ass triple bill of epic proportions is none other than ANTI-FLAG. ANTI-FLAG means anti-war. ANTI-FLAG means the common people of the world are better off living in unity and peace. ANTI-FLAG means to stand against corporate greed that hurts millions while benefitting a handful of extremely rich. ANTI-FLAG means unity and it also means you best strap yourself in mother fuckers as this will be one show not to be missed!
On the back of their Soundwave 2010 performances Alexisonfire, Comeback Kid and Anti Flag will be performing 2 club shows only.
