The South OC APA is one of more than 250 franchises, running pool leagues from the Irvine/Tustin area to San Clemente. Established in September 2006, the SOC APA has grown from 13 teams in the Fall 2006 session to 60 teams in 2009.

The "Splash Board" tournament is a double elimination local singles qualifier, which is the first step to the annual National Singles Championship (NSC). 5 of 16 players will qualify for the 2010 Spring Singles Regional, which is the second and final step in qualifying for Nationals (NSC).

The culmination of the APA Singles Program is the APA National Singles Championships, held annually at the Riviera Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. This event consists of two individual National Singles Championships:

South Orange County APA 8-Ball Team "Powered by Hondo" had a roller coaster ride in their 2nd match, with Chad Lucewicz, Baron Domey and Simon Trumper pulling out the wins to advance to the next round tonight at 11 pm...now everyone's warmed up and ready to whoop some booty!
South Orange County APA Both 9-ball doubles teams lost their first matches, and then, by the unluck o' the draw, would you believe they had to play each other? Peanut Butter N Jelly squeezed out the win and eliminated Deuces Whyld. They play again in 5 minutes (9 pm).
