Versatile born Raphael Onochie is VERSATILE by nature. A natural leader and entrepenuer he began embarking on his music career at the age 7. But his mum would say different whenever she removed his dummy (pacifier) when he was a baby he would begin to hum a melody. He got the name Versatile when he was in a local studi...o when the producer/trainer said he was VERSATILE he was like a chameleon has he could to do multiple things musically. Playing the piano to his singing to playing guitar to play all other type of instruments. But for a short time VERSATILE was unable to go back which left him turing into a poet. Everyday Versatile would write a poem or 8 bars to track he would hear on the radio. He would always demand his family to hear his poems. Versatile was then exposed to the Hip Hop Genre/culture when he put it on a music video channel this is where he really recognised what rap because he saw it rather then hearing it on the radio. Being inspired by 2pac and Notorious B.I.G., Run DMC, Slick Rick and many other great rappers that were out in the 90s. Versatile knew that he had it in him to be in their position. However it takes hard work as later in life he would soon find out. A few years later when attending to secondary school he was inspired by a group of people that came from a part of London where Versatile grew up and that was So Solid Crew. The fast pace and being so lyrical at the same time was something that he saw himself doing. So in the back of his school books he would write down lyrics and practice rapping at a fast pace. To cut a long story short VERSATILE was in neogation with Blue Pie Productions but there has been a halt in contract talks due the company being a FRAUD.
