Do you want to make a difference? Do you have a fantastic idea on how to improve your area?

Any local person or community organisation could see their idea become reality, by applying for Cleaner, Greener, Safer funding.

Every year there is around £3 million of funding which is divided across the eight community council areas, for environmental and community improvements.

Since 2003, Community Councils have given over £18m to more than 1,000 projects chosen by local people like you, to improve our community.

The deadline for submissions is March 16 2009.
