The Spirit brass and percussion will return for the third rehearsal weekend of the 2010 season on January 8-10. Anyone still interested in being a performing member of Spirit should plan to audition for one of the few remaining spots. For more information contact direct...or@spiritdrumcorps.org as soon as possible. All returning members and call back members should plan to attend. Camp Location Locust Grove High School 3275 South Ola Road Locust Grove, GA 30248 Camp Registration will begin at 7:00 pm (Eastern Time) on Friday evening Jan. 8. Rehearsal begins at 8:30 pm. Camp will end on Sundy Jan. 10 at 12:30 pm. For those flying to camp please make sure all travel information is submitted to director@spiritdrumcorps.org by Monday January 4.

The first weekend of auditions for the 2010 edition of Spirit will be held December 4-6 and it is not too late to register. Spirit is looking 150 outstanding performers to fill positions in brass, color guard, and percussion. This is an exciting time for the corps wi...th the recent announcements of a return to Atlanta, continued partnership with the Fred J. Miller Company to provide new uniforms, and one of the more outstanding instructional staffs in all of the drum corps activity Spirit is ready to make great strides in 2010. For specific information about audition requirements and materials just click on AUDITIONS at the top of this page. All potential members are encouraged to attend. Audition Camp Location Ola High School 357 North Ola Road McDonough, GA 30252 On Site Registration Begins 6:00 pm (Eastern Time) Friday December 4. Pre-registration is not required. The camp will end at 12:30 pm on Sunday December 6. Flight Information If you will be flying to camp please submit all flight information to SpiritATL@gmail.com by November 30. Once we receive your travel information you will be sent details concerning the airport shuttle service. Travel information should include: Name, airline and flight number, arrival time and departure time on Sunday. Also include your cell phone number. Remember all flights are to be booked for Atlanta (ATL). Arriving flights should arrive before 7 pm on Friday. Departing flights on Sunday should depart 5 pm or after. Cost for the weekend Audition fee $80.00 Camp fee: $75.00 What to Bring Instrument and all equipment needed. Guard will need flag, rifle, sabre, etc. Sleeping bag and all personal items needed for the weekend. A GREAT attitude!
