OMG My dad was admited here last Thusdsay, He has a very aggressive braib tumour.
My poor mum can not cope any longer. They have been married for over 50 yrs ans the last 6 - 9 months have been the biggest strain on her. She has tried so hard, but enough is enough and this fabulous organisation has stepped in. I swear ...I have never seen such wonderful nursing care anywhere. I am now looking at central govenmoent to give our hospices more funding... for goodness sake these people are in such a terrible state when they reach the hospice...
St Annes get 1/3 of it's funding fronm the NHS... 2/3 are raised via fund raising.... it's a joke. They need £17,000 just to open the doors before even giving treatment.
Until this happened to my dad I hadnt got a clue.....
If you know anyone who can do a fund raising event for this worthy cause, let me know and i will talk with people ther on your behalf... PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DIG DEEP...
