Starbucks Ireland

Starbucks Ireland It's the 25th year of Starbucks Christmas Blend. It's a blend of Latin American and Aged Sumatra beans, offering a distinctively spicy taste. You can buy it as fresh filter coffee in-store or take a bag home to enjoy.

I started my day with Christmas Blend today.

What's your favourite drink to start the week?

Starbucks Ireland What do you think love looks like?

For every drawing that is added to our Love gallery, Starbucks will contribute 5¢ (U.S.) to the Global Fund to help fight AIDS in Africa. The more we draw our wishes, the more we can make a difference.

[We’re sorry the Love CD hasn’t made it to Ireland, but you can find our (STARBUCKS)RED products on the Starbucks Ireland website.]

Xavier Van der Stappen 150 000 indians of Guatemala are concerned by the pollution made by your coffee trees with chimical droping in the Lake, one of the most beautifull of the world. I beleive it could be possible to do beter specially for coffee at the time those natives are living of the water, drinking, fishing...

Starbucks does not own any farms in Guatemala, but we do buy our coffee from medium and large farms throughout the country and from cooperatives that represent thousands of smallholder growers.

We share your concern for the quality of water and the health of the environment and people in Guatemala and all countries where we purchase coffee. For this reason, we developed our extensive coffee production guidelines in 2001, which specifically require the reduction of chemicals and synthetic inputs, and contain rigorous standards for water treatment and management in the coffee growing and processing.

Today these guidelines are called C.A.F.E. Practices, and you can review the standards for Starbucks coffee at http://cafepractices.scscertified.com... See More

Unfortunately, Starbucks is not the only company purchasing agricultural products in Guatemala, so we invite other agriculture and coffee companies to do their part and welcome their use of C.A.F.E. Practices as a model for adoption.
