thank you. i've played fastpitch since i was 6 and im now 17 about to graduate from high school.while i was at a parade for local little league softball/baseball players i overheard a mom and her daughter having a conversation about softball. The little girl told her mom she wanted to play softball. The mom asked her w...hy? after highschool there isn't any future in it. I was shocked. I couldnt help myself. I had to explain to the mom that there is college softball, professional, and the USA national team. There is more softball after highschool. And that it isnt some much about not having options to play its what you do with the life lessons you've learned while playing the game.Read More

Both of my daughters, ages 13 and 15 have been playing softball since they were 5 years old. they began playing competitive softball when they were 6 & 7 years old. The sport of softball is part of our lives. People often wonder why we spend so much money, (bats, gloves, traveling expences, etc...) but to us its an ...insurance policy, we know where are girls are, we know their friends, and its something we all enjoy doing as a family. Sounds like a great idea for a film and long overdue. Its a shame the best female athletes in softball don't get the notoriety and compensation that the men do.
