Joyce McClure, Stephens alumna and former trustee, is among only 13 (out of more than 1,500) to be selected as a finalist in Verge Magazine's Travel with Purpose photo competition. A panel of judges will determine the winners, but you can vote for the Traveler’s Choice Award at the link below! The image behind the inauguration: Sursum! is a bronze sculpture that was created by Nancy Fyfe Cardozier ’45 of Austin, Texas, at the request of Stephens' Student Government Association. The sculpture’s name is derived from the motto of Cardozier’s mentor, artist Elisabet Ney: “onward and upward.”
