Stillwater Public Library Professional shredding company, Shred Away, will shred up to four boxes of papers per car. Participants drive into the library parking lot where their cars will be unloaded and their papers will be shredded on site for free.

This monthly program on the 3rd Thursday of the month (except March), is for third through fifth graders and will include interactive presentations by local scientists, fun and wacky science songs by Monty Harper, and hands-on activities.
Registration for each program in “Born to Do Science” series is required. The regi...stration deadline is one week prior to each program. Participants are limited to third through fifth graders and their families. Parents are asked to make separate child care arrangements for family members in second grade or younger.

Senator James Halligan, Representative Lee Denney and Representative Cory Williams will be present to provide information on the upcoming legislative session and to answer questions. Other elected officials invited include the Mayor and City Council, Payne County officials and Stillwater Board of Education. Stillwater... City Management has also been invited to attend.
“This come-and-go event provides the public an opportunity to stop by the public library to visit with our elected officials.” said Library Director Lynda Reynolds. “Elected officials will be introduced around 5:30p.m.with state legislators giving brief comments also at that time."

Patrauchan will present “Breaking Up Bad Bacterial Biofilms” and speak about her research on biofilm, a group of microorganisms surrounded by the slime they secrete.
