Announcing the 2010 Alumni Association's Student Scholarship Awards
Eight accomplished students will be awarded with one of this year's Alumni Association's Scholarships ranging from $500 to $1,000. Undergraduate and graduate students may apply early by December 11, 2009. Final deadline for all applicants is February 19..., 2010. Winners will be honored at an award ceremony in April 2010. Death of a dear friend-
Werner Markel (class of 1977) of Circleville, NY passed away suddenly on Friday October 30th. We are looking to contact George Phillips and William (Bill) Steinfeld.
Werner was a dear friend. May he rest in peace
Norman Prusslin "An Audience with Eric Bloom" (singer-songwriter-guitarist) of Blue Oyster Cult will be held Tues 11/3 7pm at the Tabler Arts Center. BOC has their roots at SBU and is know for the hits "Don't Fear the Reaper" and "Burnin' For You". Admission is free..if you are in the area- come by!!
