Its because people are labeled as being for or against something. There's no more free political though in this country and if there is, there's no party to represent them.

Just picked mine up and I must say the only thing I don't like is the rack. Although is seems cool to have the integrated side bars it is not adjustable which could cause some folks issues with large boats. Otherwise it is a great car.

We love ours, we just wish that we could get it out of the shop. The new gauge pack was messing up.

Its a great car with a terrific tranny, but its a fuel hog at around 20 mpg. We need diesel!

WTH is going on with the roof rack?! Lots of Subie owners like to use roof racks and now have little to no options for maximizing roof rack space. Looks like you're stuck w/ a fixed crossbar spread and no way to add longer bars if you need to haul several kayaks or bikes. I don't know how Yakima or Thule will be able to make anything that would ... Read Moreallow for extra bar length. Oftentimes I'll have 4 to 6 kayaks on the roof but no way on this new abomination; looks like 3 maybe 4 is max. I was seriously in the market for a new Outback til I saw that - the current roof rack is a true deal breaker. Sorry to see it for an otherwise outstanding car.

That's alot of Kayaks! Mine is 65 lbs and I would not even try to load in excess of 300 lbs on a roof. Sure the roof specs for the outback would not support that heavy of a load. If you're handy with lashings, I suppose that you could lash crossbars on the rack. Again the prime issue is the weight and making the vehicle top heavy.
