    • Roger Dale Huff Sounds like it'd be a perfect solution for those who podcast (or do JTV/ Tinychat/ etc.), and want different environmental backgrounds, a comedy reply snippets (ala Neil Rogers). Yeah, I could think of a ton of uses for sure.

In the past, a great 61-key synth or module/controller was a beast to haul around. Korg proves those days are over with their 61-key microSTATION. It weighs under 6 lbs. and has 480 presets plus lots and lots of sound control. Great for gigs and jams. Check it out here: http://bit.ly/SWKorgMS.

    • Johnson Jacob That Korg is probably pretty good, but I'd still buy the Roland Juno Di and will for $100 more.

    • Jeff Sepeta Since when has a 61 key synth been a pain to haul around? Compared to a piano, a Hammond and Leslie, or a fair light cmi, most people think that a 61 key synth is about the minimum a keyboardist should bring to a gig. Still 6 lbs. Is nicer than 15 lbs.

Sweetwater Sound Check out this Sweetwater-exclusive Tele. Since we've always dug the deep, deep Mercedes Blue color (previously only available on Fender Custom Shop orders) we got with Fender to create an exclusive American Tele and Strat wrapped in this moody, rare finish. There are only 20 of each. Click here for more pics: http://bit.ly/SWExTele.

Sweetwater Sound In this week's Sweetwater Minute, Mitch interviews Wally Kurth and Christian Taylor from the band Kurth & Taylor. They were here at GearFest giving a performance, then aseminar on DIY recording, video production, and cross-country collaboration. Find out how they got their start on General Hospital in the '90s and how ...they're using today's technology (and early morning creative bursts!) to "get the band back together," despite their busy family lives.
