Matthew Anderson TAGS is my all time favorite tv show for sure. The characters, the story lines and the excellent writing make this show really special. There will never be anything like it or even close. "I already 10-4rd ya."

Today is the 23rd Anniversary of Ernest T. Bass Day, held in Nashville on Nov. 22, 1986. In full Ernest T. attire, Howard Morris came to Nashville to get The Rock to the City from Nashville Mayor Richard Fulton. He then proceeded to throw a rock through a window at Brown's Diner and get arrested. A full day of activ...ities followed, from a Purtiest Rock Contest and performances by The Doug Dillard Band at Vanderbilt University to a rock star invasion of the Grand Ole Opry.
What makes the 23rd Anniversary interesting is that it marks the moment that Ernest T. Bass Day is the halfway point between now and the assassination of President Kennedy. Someone in the audience in 1986 asked Howard Morris where he was on this day 23 years earlier. He then shared that he was in rehearsals for "My Fair Ernest T. Bass" and poignantly described his emotional memories of that day.
We've added a small album of Ernest T. Bass Day photos to our Facebook page and we're also attaching one here. Thanks for the wonderful memories, Howard Morris!Read More
