The final score was 25 to 14 in that game! A summary of the tournament was provided by one of the organizer, Jorge Cardona and is below for your enjoyment.
Howdy,
Here is a summary of the tournament held Saturday October 17, 2009. Everything took place as planned. All games started on time and teams were well organized ...and ready to play. Games were competitive and above all, the activity was entertaining for all participants. I would like to thank all four organizations for their presence and support to the event. Special thanks to the faculty that participated in the final match. They played a great game and had some impressive runs and saves. Thanks to them and their families for supporting the event.
I would also like to congratulate the Graduate Nutrition Students (NSGA) as first golden beaker champions after winning all of their games. They were well organized and had solid defense and offense. I would also like to congratulate Rachel Condie as the most valuable player of the final match with several runs on her record and numerous saves on defense.
