Jack Hughes Nestle cuts through the clutter with a 800 number joke line. So call 1-800-295-0051, then wait and don't say a word when asked if you want English or Spanish. Then, when prompted, you can press * to hear the menu in pig latin OR press 4 for the "new, more fun menu". This took me back to the 1980's when dial-a-joke lin...es were the rage. Of course Nestle leaked this "easter egg" via Facebook. Great idea.

Jack Hughes Well the folks at Google have upped the ante in the search-o-sphere. Google just released what they call Real-Time Search. It's a live stream search result that pulls from not just from websites but from news feeds, tweets, Facebook, MySpace etc. The idea fits in with the Universal Inbox that Google has been using on t...heir Android phones. This link is a little short of detail but it gives you an idea of what searching the web will look like from now on.

Jack Hughes 2 new studies show that GOOD CREATIVE has the biggest impact on the success of online ad campaigns and that BAD online campaigns actually have a negative impact on brand metrics. In other words, do it right or don't do it at all.

www.emarketer.com
Online marketers had better not be negligent. Good creative makes a successful campaign, but data from Dynamic Logic suggests that the worst-performing campaigns can actually negatively affect brand metrics.
