Sakhee.. anyone in their right mind know's that what you have posted is just as much of a scam (pyramid scheme) as any other one. All we need to do is look at the /23440. That 23440 is your reference number, meaning you get paid when you refer someone, and i'm sure you get some money when they complete some 'cash offers'.

I know that there are a billion sites on the web that claim to make you money, some do and some don't. To this end, I was skepical about trying one, but TreasureTrooper really is free. Here's how it works:

Sign up for a free account. Once you're signed up, you'll have the opportunity to complete cash offers ranging from $.50/offer to $40/offer. The smaller offers are absolutely free and the bigger offers require you to buy something or sign up for something. For example, the biggest offer is $40 but to get credit, you have to sign up for Vontage, a cost of $9.99 or so. So, you're spending $10 to make $40. It's really that simple.

a friendly suggestion:

as federal and provincial tax refunds begin trickling in, students often have the impulse to cash the cheques and go on a shopping spree.
this year, try using your refund wisely; by paying off your most expensive debt (expensive as in interest rate, not dollar amount), or, if you're lucky enough not to be in debt, invest your refund wisely; you can even use it as your 2008 rsp contribution to potentially receive an even bigger refund next year! you'll be happy you did.

Money Lounge

What is TD Canada Trust MoneyLounge?

TD MoneyLounge is a Facebook group for university and college students to talk about the financial side of student life. You’ll find contests, giveaways, and helpful advice to make this one of the best times of your life without breaking the bank. You’ll also meet new people and get ideas for managing your money. And, because the site is sponsored by TD Canada Trust, you’ll get the inside scoop on great offers, promotions and products designed with students in mind.

Why is TD Canada Trust on Facebook?

Let’s face it. Student life can also be stressful. You’ve got classes, extracurricular activities and a social life to maintain. And, if you’re like most students, you’re doing it all on a tight budget. TD MoneyLounge was created to give students a place to talk about money. It also gives TD Canada Trust an opportunity to connect with students in their own space to better understand what they need and want from their bank.

What are the TD Canada Trust MoneyLounge rules of engagement?

Facebook is a great place to voice your opinion. Have a tip for stretching that student budget? Let’s hear it. Found a new student discount? Bring it on. Got a budget-stretching recipe that doesn’t involve Kraft Dinner? We’re all ears. All we ask is that you steer clear of profanity and derogatory remarks. Your mother raised you better than that, didn’t she? Keep it clean and no one gets hurt.

The Legal Stuff

Basically, we're not responsible for comments and we're going to delete the really stupid stuff. This is for students to talk to each other. For financial advice, always consult a professional, like us www.tdcanadatrust.com. Bottom-line? Think before you post, take everything with a grain of salt and don't forget to eat your vegetables (your Mom asked us to add that last one).

What if I have a problem or concern with TD Canada Trust?
