The Banery

Nama The Banery merupakan singkatan dari nama dari masing – masing personil. Awal terciptanya band ini di latar belakangi oleh keinginan untuk berekspresi, dan mencoba ber-eksperimen dalam menyatukan berbagai genre music dari tiap personil yaitu Rock and Roll, Opera, Rock, Alternative, dan British Pop.

Musik The Banery sendiri mendapat
influence dari sebuah band asal Liverpool, yaitu The Beatles. Sejak memakai nama The Banery mereka mulai aktif menciptakan lagu karya sendiri, hingga tercipta lagu “Karena Dia”.

Dengan kebulatan tekad dan kekuatan materi lagu yang dimiliki, The Banery sedang mempersiapkan launching full album dengan 10 hitsnya di Bulan Mei 2009. Pengarapan album ini ditangani oleh myOyeah music dan artistik lagu, Produced by Krisna J Sadrah.

The Banery started out in 2004, with Rafli (Bass,Vocal), Egi (Lead Guitar,Vocal), Yudi (Rhythm Guitar,Vocal) and Deni (Drums). After a couple of years of playing music, there were some changes of personnel, so Adam (Drum) took over from Deni, and new addition, Oddo joined on keyboard and vocal.

These changes of personnel were followed by name changes from The Uncle John, The Rebeats, and finaly the banery. The name The Banery is an acronym of the band members’ names.
The band was set up from a desire to express themselves and experiment with fusing various genres of music from each member; Rock and Roll, Opera, Rock, Alternative, and British Pop .

The Banery’s music is influenced by a band from Liverpool. Since they began using the name The Banery, they have started making their own songs. One of their singles, “Karena Dia” appeared as one of the best singles on the LA LIGHTS INDIFEST COMPILATION ALBUM VOL.3, released in March 2009.

With a unanimous resolve, and strong song material, The Banery are now entering the production phase of their first full album, with 10 hit songs. The album is in the hands of myOyeah music and produced by Krisna J Sadrach. Their album is predicted for a May 2009 release.
