The Book of Mormon: Another Testament of Jesus Christ offers answers to some of life's most important questions. The following is a not-nearly-comprehensive list of some of those questions.

1) Why does mankind exist? 2 Nephi 2:25.
2) How can we know what is right and what is wrong? Moroni 7:15-19.
3) Do we have free will and agency, or are our choices already predestined for us? 2 Nephi 2:27; 10:23.
4) How can God be both merciful and just? Alma 42.
5) Why does God allow evil to exist? 2 Nephi 2:11-14.
6) Does God always protect good people from bad people? Alma 60:12-13.
7) Is Jesus the prophesied Messiah? 2 Nephi 25:29.
8) Is Jesus the Son of God? Mosiah 3:8.
9) Did Jesus atone for our sins? 1 Nephi 11:33-34.
10) Why do we need someone to atone for our sins? Alma 34:8-17.
11) What exactly is the "gospel" of Jesus Christ? 3 Nephi 27:13-21.
12) What happens after we die? Alma 40:11-14.
13) What is faith? Alma 32:21.
14) How are we saved? 2 Nephi 25:23.
15) How can a small desire to believe develop into strong faith? Alma 32.
16) Is the Bible the Word of God? 2 Nephi 3:12.
17) Does the Bible contain all of God's word? 2 Nephi 29.
18) Who were the "other sheep" that Jesus told the Jews in John 10:16 that he had to visit? 3 Nephi 15:13-24.
19) What should we pray about? Alma 34:17-28.
20) What happened in America when Jesus was born in Bethlehem? 3 Nephi 1:15-21.
21) What happened in America when Jesus was crucified in Jerusalem? 3 Nephi 8:5-23.
22) What exactly is baptism? Mosiah 18:10.
23) Do we need to be baptized? Moroni 6:2-4.
24) If Jesus was already perfect, why was he baptized? 2 Nephi 31:4-9.
25) Do little children need to repent or be baptized? Moroni 8:1-24.
26) When we are baptized, what are we promising? Mosiah 18:8-9.
27) How can we know if the Book of Mormon is true? Moroni 10:3-5.

Stendahl's "Three Rules of Religious Understanding"

The late Krister Stendahl (Swedish Lutheran bishop, Dean of the Harvard Divinity School, and friend of the Latter-day Saints) was an outspoken critic in the mid-1980s of those who opposed the building of an LDS temple in Sweden. During a press conference in 1985, he gave these "three rules of religious understanding":

1. When you are trying to understand another religion, you should ask the adherents of that religion and not its enemies.
2. Don't compare your best to their worst.
3. Leave room for "holy envy."

Both LDS and non-LDS would likely be happier and would get along much better with others if they followed these simple rules.

The mormon church is NOT the christian faith. The book of mormon is NOT God's Holy Word. Adding anything to the bible (so called scrolls?) is against God's word. See Morewere given the FREE gift of salvation because God gave His only Son Jesus, who died on a cross to save us from our sins. There is nothing we could do to deserve it or buy it. No amount of service or missions work, or doing 'good deeds', will grant you salvation. The only way is to confess Jesus as Lord, that He died for you, and that you want Him to be your personal Lord and Savior.
If any mormons (or anyone for that matter) have questions about the CHRISTIAN faith, please feel free to message me. I don't want to scare you, but you will not recieve eternal life because you are lost in a cult of LIES. Find true salvation and purpose. God longs to have a relationship with you because He loves you so much. And the mormon faith has too many indescrepencies and too many questions unanswered. Don't live your life with questions unanswered.

Book of Mormon Evidence: DNA

Contrary to anti-Mormon claims, DNA evidence does not refute the Book of Mormon. The issue requires more analysis than I wish to fit on this page, so I have a separate lengthy page on the issue at http://www.jefflindsay.com/LDSFAQ/DNA.shtml.

In my article, I point out that there are genes found in Native Americans that are also found in Jews, including mitochondrial DNA haplotype X (found among some Israelis and Europeans) and a Y chromosome haplotype called "1C". These genes can also be found in Asia, and so don't prove that people from the Middle East came to the Americas--but that possibility most certainly is NOT excluded by the DNA evidence. Other data may point more directly to Middle Eastern origins for some of the many genes in the Americas, including an analysis of ancient skulls from the Americas and HLA genes. But even without the discovery of such evidence or of the possibly relevant DNA haplotypes, a proper understanding of what the Book of Mormon actually says and what the scientific data actually say rapidly leads one to the conclusion that the DNA-based attacks on the Book of Mormon are without merit. The scientific data may challenge some popular misinterpretations of the Book of Mormon, but they do not challenge the text itself. For details, see "Does DNA evidence refute the Book of Mormon?"

In spite of the popular "Asia only" paradigm for Native American origins, evidence for ancient transoceanic contact exists and the Bering Strait theory appears to be unable to explain the origins of all ancient Americans.
