Jake When I was a child, that was long ago (30 yrs +) there ran a story in The Charlotte Observer. A serial, I believe - over the course of a week or two up until break. It was the story of how this one man became Santa Claus. He had to venture to the North Pole in order to save the children sleeping under a curse in his to...wn. Does anyone remember this? If so. Are there are archives I can read or did this story every re-published in volumes? I'd love to revisit it with the children. Thrive and Endure!

Steve you seem to be real good at this stuff. I have another one for you. I was on the front page of The Charlotte Observer on day (morning addition). Back when I was in 3 or 4th grade. I am 40 now. So do the math. It actually was an article on a teacher at Sedgefield Elementary. His name was Mr. Pride. He was a really good teacher and won some ... See Morekind of award or something so they did an article. There was another student there as well; Stephanie Litton - I believe her name was. That sure would be neat to have after all these years if you could find that as well. Growing up we normally received the afternoon edition but the paper lady delivered us a copy since I was on it and my mom was surprised when she open the door that morning. Thanks in advance - Thrive and Endure!

The Charlotte Observer Should sex offenders be allowed to worship at church? N.C. law banning them ruled unconstitutional. http://bit.ly/4EA8oc

Darn right it's unconstitutional! The state doesn't want the church meddling in its affairs, so it also has no business telling the church who can and who can't worship there.

The Jesus I know welcomes EVERYONE to church.
