First of all, I wonder how many shots of espresso you put
in your americano regular size. (In the case of a large size, I heard
that you put 4 shots.)

A regular is $2.35, and the large is $2.55: 20 cents difference.

But, when I ask for 4 shots in a regular americano, why do you
charge me $2.35 plus $0.65 for add shots? I ...ordered 4 shots in a
regular size, since I wanted it darker in a smaller amount or water. I
think it makes sense if you charge me $2.55 as a large, but why should
it become more expensive than that while I have 4 shots anyway?

I want to understand the way you charge your customers in this case.
