OK ==I know very little about Ginger Root---so is the ginger in the grocery store produce dept as good as any and how do you tell if it is fresh or is there a better place to buy it and I did see in the article that you can grow it but where do you get the start>>> HELP

Due to the winter weather in the U.S., ginger rhizome is imported from countires that have a warmer climate. The ginger root from the grocery store or asian market is just fine for cooking and growing. To plant just cut a bud from a firm piece of ginger and plant according to the above article.

I don't know what "unstuffed without stuffing" means ... Maybe it was an editing error, where she wrote "Unstuffed" and decided "without stuffing" sounded better, but didn't get "unstuffed" deleted ...

Well. for sure if you are in the Gulf Coast climes, you'll want to include dill, lovage, chervil, fennel, salad burnet...any herb that is considered for cooler climes is ready for planting in zone 8b & 9!
